Giardino Drives Into the Future: Electric and Sustainable

A Logical Next Step

At Giardino, sustainability has been high on our agenda for many years. From solar panels on our rooftops to charging stations on-site and a fully electric fleet for our management team—every step toward a greener future matters. Now, we're going even further: we’re transitioning to electric trucks for our logistics deliveries.

Why Electric Transport?

Freight transport is currently one of the largest sources of CO₂ emissions. By switching to electric trucks, we’re consciously choosing a cleaner, quieter, and more efficient way of transporting goods. In practice, that means: no exhaust emissions, no noise, no diesel—yet a major impact when it comes to environmental responsibility.

A Commitment Beyond Words

Our decision isn't about following a trend—it’s a deliberate continuation of our broader sustainability strategy. As our CEO Rudi Petit-Jean put it in an interview with Kanaal Z:

"This is a logical step for us."
"We have set a goal of reducing CO₂ emissions by 42% by 2030, and electric freight transport is simply part of that."

We work with logistics partners who share the same vision. Because real change only happens through collaboration.

More Than a Green Image

For us, sustainability isn’t a marketing slogan—it’s something we actively work on every day. Every detail counts, from saving energy to rethinking our logistics. Electric transport is not a future plan at Giardino; it's something we're already putting into practice today.
